An update from hockey land.
It’s been a week or so of playoffs, and things have been quite enjoyable thus far. The Blackhawks lead the series 2-1, with their first loss coming last night up in Calgary. What’s interesting about last nights game was the increased amount of shoving, yelling, and face washing after the whistle. Coming into the series all the talk was about the Flames being “grizzled”...

It's that time of year.
It’s finally time for NHL playoffs. Easily my favorite sporting time of the year (slightly above NFL playoffs). So from now until the end I am going to post my predictions and commentary. Maybe some of you will pay more attention to this fantastic sport because of it? Probably not. It has been seven years since the Blackhawks have made the playoffs, and I am incredibly excited.
