Daniel by Bat for Lashes
This song is interesting to me. To use some poor descriptors, it’s dark and dreamy. I’d like to think that where someone is from/their ethnic heritage has no bearing on my opinion or interest level. Bat for Lashes is Natasha Khan & company. Natasha is half-Pakistani. I don’t think I’m being any less critical of her music or anything like that. I am pleased to have come across a couple artists recently that are half-pakistani/south asian and find their music to be quality as well.
