Three Hours by Nick Drake
Today’s weather and tomorrow’s forecast makes me want Spring to come even sooner. The sooner Spring comes, the sooner it’ll be a late Summer evening. I consider Nick Drake’s music to be almost completely seasonal. It just doesn’t feel right to be listening to Five Leaves Left in the dead of winter. It is easily one of my favorite albums, and certainly my favorite Drake album (yes, I prefer it over Pink Moon).This song encompasses everything I love about the album. I look forward to it being this nice outside all the time, and then I can listen to Drake’s albums every day.
I am aware that most of you are aware of who Nick Drake is, and have listened to him plenty. Nick Drake isn’t anything new, obviously. Still, if you’ve been neglecting sitting down with his albums, this serves as a pleasant reminder.
