An update from hockey land.

It’s been a week or so of playoffs, and things have been quite enjoyable thus far. The Blackhawks lead the series 2-1, with their first loss coming last night up in Calgary. What’s interesting about last nights game was the increased amount of shoving, yelling, and face washing after the whistle. Coming into the series all the talk was about the Flames being “grizzled” and how they’d make the Blackhawks suffer physically. I don’t think increased physical play is a big advantage for the Flames. If anything, after last night it looks like the Blackhawks got under the skin of Flames captain Iginla. I think that will serve as a nice distraction come game 4 (not that he’s been a huge force thus far in the series anyway). I could go on and on, but I won’t. Watch the games, this is about as entertaining as sports get.
